Dear Hal:

Antonio Villaraigosa is the epitome of a politician who believes his ideology supersedes the constitution.

He slapped the faces of the majority of California's citizenry when he publicly stated that their will was "null and void," however, his part in denying Prop 187's day in the supreme court is also null and void. One does not arrive at a constitutional principle by wishing it, by negotiating it, or by deal-making.
