On April 19, 1995, I wrote this:

Pro-illegal alien liberals say that they think the feds should do the job of enforcing the borders. They say there are already laws to deal with this problem (massive illegal immigration). But they do not say whether they agree with those laws and they have their limits as to how much force should be used in enforcing these laws. Based on the sentiments of most of the Pro-illegal alien liberals, I can only assume that they would be opposed to an aggressive effort to identify and deport. In effect what most liberals are saying is: as long as Illegal immigrants can elude deportation, they should be entitled to remain in our country along with citizen entitlements--even if they are terrorists. I know of no country in the world that allows illegal aliens to enter and remain.

It's too bad for the majority of "good" illegal aliens, that our country's generosity and compassion is answered by law breakers, free loaders, and terrorists--who, when caught, are entitled to our "your innocent until proven guilty" courts. As long as our country continues to extend an inviting hand to illegal aliens, you can expect more of the same.
